I've travelled to an Arab state, and also a few Muslim majority countries favoured by Arab tourists and I can tell you that the majority of Arabs I have come into contact with were antagonistic, xenophobic scum who veil their revolting opinions of non-muslims with a facade of ebullience and affability. when you feel you need just 1 cigarette or can just have 1 and you'll be fine you are being dishonest with yourself. My personal approach was to think rationally and logically and remember all the reasons why i quit in the first place and the fear of getting hooked again kept me away from that "1 cigarette" - nothing wrong with thinking about it here and there but stay true to your quit and even those thoughts will subside. Good luck to everyone out there quitting

im not familiar with allen carrs easy way to quit program other than this video BUT i did take alot of the methods and rationale into consideration when I kicked the habbit. I was a smoker for 5 years and I am now on my 28th day cigarette free. The hardest part in my opinion come in two parts. sejaynus i had the same problem, i failed twice before succeding. what i did was, i re read the book, and i found parts of the book that i most identified with, and highlighted them. then keeping in mind how hard and horrid it felt learning to smoke, and remebering how i was with coughing and chest pains most of the time..i came to realise that i never did, and never could enjoy cigarettes. so any time i think about cigs now, i just think "never did, never could" and i have never craved since.

It really isnt hard to stop, all you need to do is realise that the craving is just the nicotine (poison) leaving your body and trying to command you to be its slave yet again...once you say no it dies within days and you are free to live a life controlled by yourself not a drug. For me it was 30 odd years dominated by nicotine. Any situation my first thought would be "can I smoke there?" even at events like funerals!!! How bad is that :(
